Clarewood University Opens its Doors

MBA classes start with great attendance

On October 1, Clarewood, the first university headquartered in Reston, kicked off classes with its first group of Master of Business Administration (MBA) students. Professionals with the goal of enriching their careers were welcomed by Mark Zhong, Clarewood’s administrative dean, and light refreshments were served with their first course of “Advanced Managements Principles,” taught by Professor Richard Linowes, PhD.

Professor Linowes holds a Bachelor of Arts from Princeton University, a Master of Science from the University of Michigan, and a Doctor of Business Administration from Harvard University. He is an educational innovator with many years of experience, who has pioneered new teaching methods that strive to help people learn by doing.
