Artists and Authors night at Reston Montessori School
On June 8, Reston Montessori School held its annual Artists and Authors Night, where kindergarteners exhibited their artwork in an end-of-the-school-year celebration with their parents and teachers.
Throughout the school year, the kindergarteners attended several field trips, including the National Gallery of Art, where they learned about different artists. Then they recreated some of the famous pieces, trying to emulate the artists’ style.
The event culminated with a graduation cake and a song as a farewell to the students’ kindergarten years.
