The 53rd anniversary of Reston’s founding by our beloved Robert (Bob) Simon, Jr. will be held April 8, 2017 at Lake Anne Plaza at 12:00 p.m.
Founder’s Day will feature activities for all ages and will focus on the past, present, and future of Reston. The event is open to the whole community.
Founder’s Day is presented by Reston Historic Trust and Museum, Reston Association, Reston Community Center, Initiative for Public Art—Reston, and Lake Anne of Reston Condominium Association.
As part of the celebrations, Restonians will be able to leave their mark on Reston with commemorative bricks. Residents can donate bricks in their name, or in memory of a loved one.
