Featured exhibit at Reston Art Gallery and Studios, May 5 – 30
Sandra C Dovberg presents her newest paintings with a primary focus on the beauty of nature in scenes of local flora and fauna in their own environments in the show “Natural Habitats” on display at Reston Art Gallery and Studios (RAGS) from May 5 through May 30. The show is open every weekend from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Saturdays and 12:00 until 5:00 p.m. on Sundays. In addition to featuring Dovberg’s show in May, RAGS presents a special exhibit at Reston Community Center–Hunters Woods from May 2 through May 31, highlighted with the “Appalachian Spring” concert on Saturday, May 7 presented by the Reston Chorale.
Furthering its nurture of art, RAGS offers free, themed Crafts for Kids every Saturday morning at the gallery, April through December, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
