A Celtic Christmas Concert is this December 9, 7:30pm at the Holy Cross Lutheran Church, in Herndon.
A Celtic Christmas with The Jennifer Licko band is returning for their annual Christmas Tour. The band performs a four-piece ensemble with dance, songs and tunes to familiar carols. The Celtic Album of the Year recipient, Jennifer Licko, wants to reach out to those who may not be familiar with Celtic Music. Originally Irish, Celtic Music was the primary foundation for Country and Bluegrass music. Licko sings songs in Scots Gaelic, however, 90% of the material is in English and it’s relatable.
Donations to help support The Alternative House, providing a brighter future for a rick youth and families, will be accepted at the concert.
