Broadway Masterclasses Coming to NextStop!

Broadway Masterclasses Coming to NextStop!

Take a Masterclass with Broadway Professionals!

Session #1: In-Person* @ NextStop Theatre, March 2-4, 5-8pm
Session #2: Virtual via Zoom, March 30-April 2, 5-8pm

NextStop is excited to host The Creative Artist Network for 2 three-day masterclasses in March. This an incredibly unique opportunity to study and learn directly from Broadway stars!

All having gown up and performed in the Baltimore/Washington area, Alan, Caroline, and Nick focus on bridging the gap between a practical understanding of techniques and the undeniable power of each student’s individuality and creativity. They give personal attention and aim to make space for each student to recognize and utilize their unique artistic senses.

We only have a 15 spots per workshop! Based on the nature and demands of the program, registration is being limited to students in 7th through 12th grade.

This 3-day intensive will examine Musical Theatre techniques, industry standards, and (most importantly) individual impulses and instincts thro.ugh the hypothetical context of an “audition experience.” Students will work on their selections repeatedly and be coached by our master teachers to build confidence and craft the strongest possible performance.

Day 1: Group Assessment
Day 2: Master Class Rotation
Day 3: Mock Audition
