What inspired you to pursue a practice in airway and sleep medicine?
Children suffer from Sleep Disordered Breathing, that could be not diagnosed. Actually nearly 80% of children, with regular annual medical visits, do not get the screening needed to attain better upper airway respiratory function. When a child is not breathing properly during the daytime, the sleep cycle will be interrupted becuase the respiratory system does not have the adequate anatomical support for its proper function during nighttime, causing a cascade of effects in the overall health of the child.
What advice can you give about living your best life?
Consider yourself a life-time student, be curious learn and implement your knowledge for the betterment of humankind.
