Lake Anne and Washington Plaza Merchant Association (LAWPA) announced the first concert in Virginia by acclaimed artist and singer Tae Phoenix, which will take place on Friday August 18 at 6 pm at Lake Anne Plaza in Reston.
Seattle Weekly calls singer/songwriter and activist Tae Phoenix, “a natural-born storyteller with the polish of an accomplished actress and the authentic edge of a seasoned blues musician.” Her influences include Joni Mitchell, Natalie Merchant, and Tori Amos. Tae has worked extensively with Herndon-Reston Indivisible and said she is honored to be making her Virginia debut at Lake Anne Plaza with their support.
The concert is part of the summer concert series sponsored by LAWPA.
