NEW EVENT! Friends of Reston Fall 5K

Sunday, October 17

Runners, walkers, and strollers of all ages can get set and go for the fun at the inaugural Friends of Reston Fall 5K, Sunday, October 17. Starting at 8:00 a.m. at Brown’s Chapel Park, 1686 Brown’s Chapel Road, the route of this new event winds through paved trails in north Reston and ends with an awards celebration, prizes, and live music. Online registration is open until October 15 via the link on friendsofreston.org. Participants registered by Friday, October 1 will be ensured to receive an event T-shirt and a goodie bag for a fee of $40. For later registrants, October 2-15, and in-person on event day, October 17, the cost is $45 and event T-shirts will be available while supplies last. Spectators are welcome to cheer the runners and walkers, and those who would like to volunteer to assist with this community event can contact Ha Brock, ha@reston.org

Proceeds from the Friends of Reston Fall 5K will fund youth scholarships and enrichment in Reston Association programs.
