Reston Historic Trust & Museum Launches New Virtual Event
The Reston Historic Trust & Museum is excited to announce the launch of our newest virtual event – Date Night with History! Participants are invited to visit restonmuseum.org/datenight on 5/29/2020 at 5 p.m. to explore Reston’s history in a new and fun-filled way.
Visitors will begin Date Night by becoming acquainted with the “eligible” artifacts of Reston. This curated selection of a dozen artifacts from the Reston Historic Trust & Museum have been interpreted in a humorous-tone. The history of the artifacts will be interwoven in an amusing introduction as if they are single and introducing themselves as a potential date! Visitors can “swipe” right on their favorites with the winner of the poll announced on 6/1/2020.
Games that can be completed online or printed will be made available on the date night landing page restonmuseum.org/datenight, including Reston themed puzzles, board game and trivia.
This event is free, however, donations to support the Reston Historic Trust & Museum are always appreciated. Everyone who makes a donation the weekend of 5/29/2020 will receive Robert E. Simon’s delicious martini recipe!
