Reston Home Tour is Back! Early Bird Tickets Now on Sale!

The Reston Museum is excited to announce that tickets are now on sale for our 19th Reston Home Tour taking place on October 16 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. We invite you to celebrate “New Beginnings” with us at four uniquely renovated homes as well as the new assisted living facility, the Kensington Reston. Tour stops feature unique architectural features, top of the line appliances, artwork from around the world and much more. Several homes showcase Reston’s history: the oldest house on the tour was built in 1969; one was designed by architect Ken Bonner; and, another was the first home built on Lake Thoreau, built before even the lake! Visit the Craftsman-inspired Kensington Reston, a premier assisted living and memory care facility, which overlooks the 11th fairway of Reston National Golf Course and features public art and French country inspired furnishings.

The tour is self-guided and you can visit the homes in any order. Our beautiful home tour guide book includes descriptions of each home as well as a tour map to help you easily navigate your day. Masks will be required on this year’s tour. A boxed lunch will be available for purchase at the Kensington Reston. Don’t forget to stop by the Reston Museum to see our newest exhibit “Early Reston Home Interiors.”

Early Bird ticket pricing ends September 15, get your tickets today! Reston Museum members receive an additional $5 discount. To take advantage of this discount become a member at https://www.restonmuseum.org/membership
