Friday, September 25 & Saturday, September 26
One of the region’s favorite events, Taste of Reston, presented annually by the Greater Reston Chamber of Commerce, is now rescheduled with new dates: Friday, September 25 and Saturday, September 26, at Reston Town Center. The two-day Taste of Reston is normally held in mid-June, but with postponement necessary for this year, the Chamber is looking forward with plans to host the event in the fall. This will be the 30th annual Taste of Reston, which was first held in the summer of 1991 to support local restaurants, the business community, and to bring a lively event for all to enjoy following the October 1990 opening of Reston Town Center. Planning for this year’s event includes the qualities that Taste of Reston is renowned for – plenty of food and beverage tastings, activities for all ages, and live music – while being thoughtful of physical distancing.
The 30th annual Taste of Reston will be open from 4 p.m. until 11 p.m. on Friday, September 25 and from noon until 11 p.m. on Saturday, September 26 with free admission and parking, as usual. Food and beverage tickets, $1 each or $20 for 24, will be available for purchase at the event and in advance at RestonTaste.com. Online purchasers will receive a souvenir at the event. The 30th annual Taste of Reston will offer two days of numerous food vendors, local wineries, three beer zones with craft and seasonal brews, a sponsor showcase, and live entertainment on four stages. The popular Wine ‘n Dine, Family Fun Zone, and a new Farmers Market will be featured on Saturday. Restaurant vendors confirmed so far are Famous Dave’s, The Fermented Pig, Sweet Crimes, Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurants, Two Smooth Dudes Food Truck, Whim Pop, Clyde’s of Reston, Barcelona Wine Bar, and Harvest & Vine (formerly known as Vinifera). Taste of Reston is made possible with the support of MillerMusmar CPAs and Reston Community Center as Pinnacle Sponsors, Northwest Federal Credit Union as Presidential Sponsor, and Boston Properties as Host Sponsor. Find details and updates about participating restaurants, live bands, schedules, sponsorships, volunteering, and more at RestonTaste.com.
Taste of Reston has been voted “Best Food Festival in Northern Virginia” for nine years in a row by Virginia Living.
